Born in the East Coast but raised in the Bay Area by immigrant Chinese parents, I became interested in psychology as a teen as I encountered generational and cultural conflicts in my family.  In my pursuit of the study of psychology, I longed for a better understanding of relationships and the human psyche and I felt drawn towards helping others also better understand themselves and their relationships.  Today, I can honestly say that I have found my calling. I am truly passionate about my work and feel so fortunate to have found a career that affords me so much personal satisfaction and allows me the prilvilege to participate in and witness the personal growth of my clients.

ON A MORE PERSONAL NOTE...

When I'm not practicing psychotherapy, I enjoy singing, creative writing, arts and crafts, cooking, running, and spending time with my family and friends.
